Paddles and Oars for Boats |
As in most marine applications there are specific designs of equipment for most every category. This is also true in oars and paddles. Oars designed for rescue craft on large ships and yachts are larger, heavier, and usually made of wood or aluminum. Paddles for smaller watercraft are usually made of wood and are fairly light and usually less than 8 feet in length.
Row boats will use oar locks to provide consistent placement of oars into the water and to provide a pivot point for executing the oar stroke. Click why you should shop with us.
